Shalonna Jackson, MSW, LSW, OCPSA
Licensed Social Worker
Shalonna Jackson is a Licensed Social Worker licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker, and Marriage and Family Therapist Board. Shalonna earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Bowling Green State University and her Master's degree in Social Work from The University of Akron. She has been inducted into the Omicron Omega Chapter of Phi Alpha, National Social Work Honor Society, as well as the Golden Key International Honor Society and MORTAR Board.
Shalonna is a trainer/facilitator for Youth Mental Health First Aid, is his trained in ROX (Ruling Our Experiences), and is trained in trauma informed care. She also holds prevention credentials through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professional Board, and works as a health and wellness coordinator/supervisor for Summit County (Red Oak Behavioral Health).
Shalonna has several years of experience with case management in the mental health field, providing supportive assistance to youth receiving therapeutic services in a variety of school and community settings. Shalonna also works to provide individual and group counseling to at risk adolescents as a school-based therapist.
